If you’ve never visited Austin or haven’t tried the city-exclusive Mother’s Cafe, you’re missing out on the best dressing of your life – ever, period. Luckily, I’ve recreated it for ya.
This salty, nutty drizzle has transformed how much salad I eat; so, if you’re tryna get on that health life, I highly recommend you make this stuff.
Cashew-Tamari Dressing
An attempt to recreate Mother’s Cashew-Tamari Dressing
- 1 cup cashews
- 4 teaspoons balsalmic vinegar
- 6 tablespoons tamari (NOT soy sauce! v important!)
- 2 cups safflower OR canola oil
Measure all the ingredients into a food processor or blender. Pulse a few times to combine as finely as desired (I like my cashew pieces to be not so blendy – as pictured above.) Pour into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator, because trust me girl: you’ll wish you made more!
